As a critical member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving our sales success by providing top notch administrative support, ensuring seamless communication and maintaining our sales data and pipeline with precision. You will also generate sales opportunities by corresponding with prospective and existing ORBCOMM customers, generating outbound leads, and following up on inbound leads. You will be assisting customers throughout their buying journey, ensuring positive customer experience, and driving sales by listening to customers and anticipating their needs.
This a remote position that can be held anywhere in Central America, including Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador, Belize, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras.
What You’ll Do:
- Prospect, research, identify new business opportunities for assigned regions and segments.
- Qualify sales leads and create a detailed lead profile of the opportunity for the Business Development Manager.
- Coordinate and partner with other sales team members to progress leads and opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
- Build strong relationships with the Business Development Managers and other sales team members.
- Qualify and close leads generated by marketing programs.
- Assist and support in other strategic efforts to create qualified sales opportunities.
- Maintain up to date and accurate information for customer accounts in Salesforce, such as contact information, opportunities, account information, logged activities, tasks, and events.
- Monitor current inactive units and lead the process to ensure that the units become activated.
- Develop detailed knowledge of ORBCOMM’s solutions and product portfolio and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective clients.
- Provide sales pipeline analysis as needed and other sales coordination duties as required.
Who You Are:
You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for operational excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have:
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar sales support or solution selling role.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Strong decision-making, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to identify and prioritize critical issues.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner with both internal and external clients and stakeholders.
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be open to an independent contractor agreement, which does not include benefits.
