Job Description

As our Creative Director, you’ll be at the helm of our creative department, leading a team of 5-7 talented designers in crafting exceptional brand identities and websites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our agency’s creative vision, mentor emerging talent, and work directly with clients to bring their brand aspirations to life. You’ll collaborate closely with our project manager to ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects while maintaining our reputation for creative excellence. Responsibilities
  • Inspire and lead a team of 5-7 designers, providing mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback to foster their growth and enhance project outcomes
  • Oversee and maintain the quality and consistency of all design work, ensuring our deliverables exceed client expectations and align with their brand strategies
  • Collaborate with the project manager to optimize workflows, meet deadlines, and balance resources across multiple projects
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, present creative concepts, and articulate design rationales that align with their business objectives
  • Spearhead the development and implementation of brand strategies, ensuring cohesion across various touchpoints including brand identities and website designs
  • Drive creative innovation by staying abreast of industry trends and incorporating cutting-edge design practices into our work
  • Contribute to the agency’s growth strategy by identifying new creative opportunities and refining our service offerings
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in branding and web design
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and mentoring design teams in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to both team members and clients
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Significant experience in client-facing roles, including pitching and presenting creative work to diverse audiences
  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • In-depth understanding of current design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the digital space
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align creative solutions with client objectives and agency goals
  • Adaptability to work in a primarily remote environment, with excellent time management and self-motivation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus
