Paid Time Off:
AMSURG offers paid time off, 9 observed holidays, and paid family leave. You accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) each pay period and depending on your position and can earn a minimum of 20 days and up to 25 days per calendar year.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Corporate Operations Associate plays a critical role in supporting operational excellence and business analytics across ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs). This position focuses on managing a wide range of operational tasks, data analytics, and resource updates, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of key initiatives. The role requires collaboration with leadership, a proactive approach to improving processes, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Work Schedule: The Corporate Operations Associate role is offered on a Remote-Centric Hybrid basis with the expectation that you will be required to come to our AMSURG office in the Green Hills section of Nashville for quarterly planning meetings and annual full team strategy meetings. The Corporate Operations Associate will focus on an assigned region based on their geographic location, with regional representation needed in the West, Northeast, and Southeast U.S.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Duties:
- Operational Reporting and Analysis: Develops and delivers data-driven reports and analytics that support operational decision-making and align with organizational objectives.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluates business processes and procedures, identifying gaps or areas for improvement, and implements enhancements to streamline operations.
- Data Visualization: Designs and presents compelling visual representations of data to effectively communicate insights and trends.
- Project Support: Provides tactical and administrative support for various initiatives, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- Leadership Collaboration: Partners with Directors of Operations and other leaders to ensure smooth execution of regional and center-level goals.
Specific Duties:
- Manages HealthStream (Learning Management System) by assigning and tracking training, ensuring compliance with onboarding standards.
- Prepares quarterly board packets and maintains a centralized repository for board minutes and other critical documents.
- Creates and manages monthly operating review (MOR) slide decks, including scheduling and coordinating meetings.
- Regularly updates the Center Connect SharePoint site, ensuring it remains a dynamic, user-friendly resource tailored to the unique needs of each ASC.
- Tracks and manages case-related documentation (e-cases) on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Monitors and verifies data management practices quarterly to maintain high data integrity standards.
- Participates in virtual regional team meetings, contributing insights and facilitating operational alignment.
- Compiles and distributes key metrics and updates monthly, including work comp claims, FMLA cases, staffing issues, open positions, and Capex/CRAF tracking.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of data tools and systems, including Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
- Analytical Skills: Expertise in interpreting and leveraging data to identify trends, solve problems, and influence strategy.
- Communication: Ability to clearly articulate findings, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present data in a meaningful way to stakeholders at all levels.
- Time Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail Orientation: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in managing data and producing deliverables.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with at least two years of relevant experience in operations, data analytics, or healthcare administration.
- Extensive experience with SharePoint, HealthStream, and case-tracking tools.
- Proven expertise in advanced Excel functionalities, including VBA, Power Query, and pivot tables.
