Department Overview
The Software Enterprise Deployment and Integration team delivers solutions to the public safety sector. We are committed to providing technology and tools which will allow customers to focus on their mission, and enable them to respond faster with smarter and safer decisions. The Software Deployment and Integration team is responsible for delivering Command Center projects to our public safety customers. The projects contained in the Command Center portfolio include large Statewide, Regional, and major Municipal Public Safety Solutions (CAD, Mobile, Records Management, Crime Analysis, and Jail), Video, Emergency Call Handling/Next Gen 911 solutions, Asset Management Solutions, and other applications used in the Command Center.

Job Description

This role leads the development and implementation of Motorola Solutions products and services. You will coordinate teams—both within your department and across functions—to deliver new and improved offerings. Responsibilities include managing projects from initiation to completion (or handover), meticulously tracking progress, and evaluating performance against established quality metrics, budget, and timelines. You will participate in project reviews and status meetings, providing clear and consistent communication on project status. Leveraging Six Sigma and established project management methodologies, you will drive project effectiveness and team performance. This role also contributes to the development of business plans and strategies to capitalize on new opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience managing complex deployments and/or software application deployments required.
  • Remote position based in the United States with the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Experienced with Public Safety systems is considered an asset.
  • Skilled in using project scheduling applications like Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, or similar applications.
  • Experienced with project risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies.
  • PMP and/ or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) desired.
  • Must be a self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Must be able to think outside of the scope of responsibilities and take initiative. 
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with regional and territorial management.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with relevant peers and senior stakeholders.  

This position is a remote position and candidates can be located anywhere in the US.

Target Base Salary Range: $98,100 - $196,200 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
