Overview:
Maxor National Pharmacy Services has an opportunity for a full time Accounting Clerk to join our team. The Accounting Clerk performs accounting functions for the Pharmacy Operations division.
Position Location
This position is based onsite with the Accounting Team in Amarillo, TX.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Prepare bank deposits, post payments, record daily cash reports for pharmacies.
- Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time by the Director of Shared Services and/or Staff Accountant.
- Display computer literacy, strong typing skills, and experience with accounting software
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Work effectively with minimal oversight, while also functioning well in a team environment
- Coordinate and perform multiple projects simultaneously
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma, college coursework preferred but not required
Experience:
- Must have familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Competent in MS Office, databases and accounting software
- Strong typing skills
