Theoria’s Technology Department is currently seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Lead to join our team. As a DevOps Lead, you will play a critical role in leading and developing a high-performing DevOps team. We are looking for a candidate who possesses strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for automation and efficiency.

Shift Structure: 

  • Monday-Friday 10am-6pm EST
  • Remote 

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing DevOps team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide regular updates on DevOps initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines and automate processes for efficient software delivery.
  • Strategic Planning: Define and execute a comprehensive DevOps strategy aligned with long-term goals.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of resilient and scalable infrastructure.
  • Automation & Tooling: Implement and maintain tools for infrastructure as code, configuration management, and monitoring.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, ensure compliance, and implement disaster recovery plans.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track KPIs, report on operational metrics, and ensure effective monitoring.
  • Collaboration & Training: Promote cross-functional collaboration and provide training on DevOps tools and practices.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of DevOps experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
  • Must be punctual or on time and adhere to the company's Time and Attendance policy.
  • Must be able to remain sitting for the majority of their shift.
