Logistics UK is seeking a proactive and skilled Health & Safety Manager to play a pivotal role in implementing a brand-new Health & Safety system across our organisation. This is a 1-year fixed-term contract where you’ll have the opportunity to leave a lasting impact on one of the UK’s leading logistics organisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the implementation of a comprehensive Health & Safety framework, including a cutting-edge Governance, Risk, and Compliance solution.
  • Developing and embedding policies and procedures that ensure compliance with legislation and drive a culture of safety.
  • Conducting audits, reporting on key KPIs, and maintaining high standards such as ISO 45001.
  • Collaborating with senior management and engaging employees across the organisation to ensure seamless adoption of the new system.

Requirements

  • Hold a recognised qualification in occupational H&S (NEBOSH or equivalent).
  • Have experience in implementing Governance, Risk, and Compliance solutions.
  • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, professional approach to driving change and promoting safety.
  • Be organised, adaptable, and ready to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
