👪 Type: Maternity Cover 18 Months (minimum term, possibility for permanent)

The role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager of People & Talent, you will have the opportunity to support the growth of an early-stage SaaS company that is scaling globally, notably in Romania & US. You will be pivotal in supporting and executing strategies to attract, develop and retain top talent across the organisation, using data-led initiatives to deliver exceptional employee lifecycles and candidate experiences.

The ideal individual will be a hands-on with operational experience in People and Talent functions. This is a startup environment, so we want someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to get things done. We need someone who is data-driven yet comfortable with ambiguity. Strong people and communication skills to managers and senior leaders.

This role would cover People & Talent responsibilities supporting our teams across 4 continents. 

Some key areas you’ll be working on:

  • Assist in the implementation of People and Talent strategies that align with the company's OKRs, focusing company growth, retention, engagement and cultural strategies.

  • Work closely with People & Talent team to effectively attract, develop and retain exceptional global talent, notably within Romania/Hungary and the US. With a key focus on Developers and Customer Support.

  • Lead People & Talent administration, across Recruitment & Onboarding, Performance Management, Compliance & Legal Administration, Off-boarding, L&D, HR Systems & Data Management. (HRIS - HiBob, ATS - TeamTailor)

  • Champion a "people-first" culture by supporting initiatives that prioritise the well-being of employees, ED&I and align with our Mission, Values & Leadership Principles.

  • Evaluate and support our international growth and mobility helping to setup entities in Romania & US.

  • Assist in maintaining and promoting a strong employer brand and EVP (socials, career site, thought-leadership) to attract, onboard, and retain top talent in the competitive tech industry.

  • Support in the execution of performance and retention strategies, including hiring plans, compensation reviews, benefits optimisation, and employee engagement programs.

  • Lead the collation, analysis and insight-reporting of People & Talent data to inform decision-making.

  • Support in ensuring HR policies, templates, and contracts are up to date and compliant with international and local laws, including ISO and GDPR requirements.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in a People & Talent role, ideally in a high-growth tech startup or B2B SaaS company

  • HR generalist experience delivering exceptional employee-lifecycles

  • Recruitment generalist experience delivering exceptional candidates-experiences

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Passionate about fostering inclusion, diversity, and equity in the workplace

  • Ability to collect and analyse data to provide insights that support people strategy decisions

  • Strong written and verbal English skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation


Nice To Have:

  • Internal end-to-end recruitment experience onsite in Romania

  • Setting up local Romanian entity, including policy and legal compliance, payroll etc

  • Worked with a UK or US-headquartered company on a remote basis

  • Familiarity with GDPR, ISO compliance and understanding of local / international employment laws

  • Degree, CIPD or other qualifications are nice to have
