About job

NB: The role is primarily remote, offering flexibility and convenience. However, during the probation period, it follows a hybrid model with 2 days per week in the office, providing a great opportunity to integrate with the team while still enjoying remote work.

In this role, you will develop distributed stream processing services and implement APIs using REST and gRPC for seamless communication between services. Youll integrate new services into the existing ecosystem, using Kafka and gRPC for efficient communication, and write unit tests to ensure code quality.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and conduct code reviews to maintain best practices. Additionally, youll contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring reliable and efficient software delivery.

Responsibilities

1. Stream Processing Development: Develop distributed stream processing services and integrate them with the existing ecosystem using Kafka and gRPC.
2. API Implementation: Implement REST and gRPC APIs to ensure robust communication between services.
3. Testing & Code Quality: Write, maintain, and execute unit tests to ensure high-quality code, and conduct thorough code reviews to uphold best practices.
4. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery and efficient problem-solving.
5. CI/CD Contribution: Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines for reliable and efficient software delivery.

Requirements

1. C# .NET Expertise: 5+ years of experience in C# .NET development, including proficiency in asynchronous and multi-threaded code.
2. Distributed Systems & Databases: Proven experience in developing and maintaining distributed systems, with knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
3. Containerization & Messaging: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and strong knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka and MQTT.
4. Development Tools: Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Git, and GitHub Actions for task management, documentation, and CI/CD pipelines.
5. Problem-Solving & Communication: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills in English.
