Integration Project Manager
The Integration Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful integration of new systems, processes, or acquisitions within an organization. This role involves planning, coordinating, and managing integration activities to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption to operations. Integration Project Managers work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and external vendors, to align systems, processes, and teams during mergers, acquisitions, or major system implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement detailed integration plans, including timelines, resources, budgets, and key milestones.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, operations, legal, HR, finance) to ensure smooth integration of systems, processes, and personnel.
Serve as the point of contact for all integration-related issues, acting as the liaison between internal teams, senior management, and external partners.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders on the status of the integration project, including timelines, risks, and progress toward milestones.
Oversee the integration of business processes, systems, and technologies, ensuring that all functions work together seamlessly post-integration.
Identify potential risks and challenges in the integration process, including operational, financial, and technological risks.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
- Must be willing to travel between 20%-40% within the U.S.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2-3 years focused on integration projects (e.g., M&A integration, system implementations, or process redesign).
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Slack, SharePoint).
