We are looking for a dynamic Training Development Manager to join our team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to organize unit duties, responsibilities, and resource allocation to complete key tasks and projects assigned by the Vice President of Enterprise-Wide Training and Staff Development and the Training Director.
You will provide essential leadership in the development and implementation of the Training Department Strategic Plan. This is a chance to manage and supervise a talented team, which includes Instructional Design and Development Coordinators, Training Systems Program Coordinators, Multimedia Design and Development Coordinators, and Training Program and Development Coordinators. Together, you will ensure that the learning and development needs of our staff, providers, members, and community are met and exceeded! Collaboration is key! On a typical day, you might:
- Oversee and participate in development and maintenance of Trillium’s online learning platforms.
- Conduct learning and development assessments.
- Oversee training coordination based on approved annual training plan.
- Identify and implement a wide range of training techniques to improve efficiency and return on investment.
- Create training materials and programs to address specific business objectives.
- Work with presenters to prepare instructional material and lesson plans that meet the training needs of the target audience.

Qualifications:
Required Education/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED and five (5) years of experience providing training to a variety of audiences.
OR
Associate’s degree in Human Services, Human Resources, Education, Training and Development, Instructional Design, or Organizational Development and three (3) years of experience providing training to a variety of audiences.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Human Resources, Education, Training and Development, Instructional Design, or Organizational Development and one (1) year of experience providing training to a variety of audiences.
OR
Equivalent combination of higher education/experience.
Preferred Education:
Master’s Degree in a Human Services, Human Resources, Education, Training and Development, Instructional Design, or Organizational Development preferred.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in meeting facilitation and computer proficiency preferred. Supervision of two (2) or more employees preferred.
Required License/Certification:
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Preferred License/Certification:
Clinical licensure in NC as LMFT, LCSW, LCMHC, or LPA OR certification as PHR, SHRM-CP, or CPTD, CPTM preferred.
Location:
Must reside in North Carolina to be considered for remote status.
Remote within Trillium’s Catchment area.
Trillium’s North Central Region servicing these counties: (Beaufort, Dare, Edgecombe, Greene, Hyde, Nash, Pamlico, Pitt, Tyrell, Washington, and Wilson counties).
Trillium’s Mid State Region servicing these counties: (Anson, Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph and Richmond counties).
Trillium’s Northern Region servicing these counties: (Bertie, Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Gates, Halifax, Hertford, Martin, Northampton, Pasquotank, Perquimans and Warren counties).
Trillium’s South-Central Region Servicing these counties: (Carteret, Craven, Duplin, Jones, Lenoir, Onslow, Pender, Sampson and Wayne counties).
Trillium’s Southern Region servicing these counties: (Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Hoke, Lee, Moore, New Hanover, Robeson and Scotland counties).
