Technical Product Owner (TPO)

Key Responsibilities

Lead Product Development with Vision

• Masterfully create and manage Epics to guide development initiatives.

• Act as the bridge between business requirements, technical potential, and engineering workflows. Translate these insights into actionable roadmaps and development backlogs.

• Drive backlog refinement, ensuring user stories and features are fully prepared for Agile sprints.

Facilitate Collaboration Across Teams

• Partner with Development Team, Business, Designers, QA daily to clarify scope and contribute to functional decision-making.

• Engage closely with delivery teams to ensure successful execution of product goals.

• Address and resolve product-level roadblocks, optimizing processes to support faster and higher-quality software development.

Make Impactful Decisions

• Keep Product leadership informed of critical issues, offering clear recommendations to facilitate resolution.

• Collaborate with the CEO to ensure that each release aligns with business priorities and delivers expected ROI.

Technical Alignment and Quality Assurance

• Possess a deep understanding of the goals and objectives of product features.

• Work with the Head of Engineering to address infrastructure and non-functional requirements.

• Collaborate with QA team members to define and implement automated testing strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product ownership, project management, or technical roles, ideally in the B2B SaaS domain.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing roadmaps, backlogs, and translating business needs into detailed technical requirements.

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban and experience in iterative development environments.

• Strong technical background with 5+ years of experience working with modern integration technologies, including APIs, microservices, REST, JSON,  and cloud platforms (AWS).

• Proven ability to lead technical teams and provide hands-on support when necessary.

• Analytical prowess, capable of deriving actionable insights from data and presenting them effectively to drive product enhancements.

• Organizational and prioritization skills to manage workloads effectively.

• Self-starter qualities, including attention to detail, initiative, and adaptability.

• An ability to clearly articulate the value of product ownership to diverse audiences.
