We are seeking a Remote Account Manager to join our Sales team for the Baxter Healthcare Systems and Technologies Business Unit. The ideal candidate will work closely with our field-based Key Account teams and nurture relationships with clients to identify their needs, fulfill sales requirements, and proactively prospect new business opportunities.

This role is fully remote from the candidates home, without field travel.

What You'll do:

  • Collaborate with the Territory Sales team to build and maintain the Territory Business plan

  • Develop and implement prospecting and business development strategies

  • Remotely sell Baxter's products and retain end-user customers within an assigned geographic area or specific customer accounts

  • Promote and establish education of the company's products and services

  • Collaborate with various departments to plan and implement sales activities

  • Provide on-going sales support, including sales calls, data analysis, and customer opportunities follow-up

  • Collaborate with tender and contract departments on leading large-scale tenders and contracts

  • Deliver accurate product information, forecasting, and active supply chain management

  • Conduct regular Business Reviews with customers

  • Translate market insights into a clear prioritization of sales actions

  • Submit accurate monthly forecasts based on intelligent and realistic pipeline management

What we need form you:

  • Passion for selling and a positive demeanor towards remote sales

  • Previous remote sales experience or a genuine desire to move from a field-based sales role

  • Experience in the medical sales industry

  • Strong teamwork and collaborative approach

  • Comfortable taking personal accountability for actions towards a shared goal

  • Proactive approach and resilient attitude in developing new prospects and closing deals

  • Strong presentation and communication skills over the phone

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment

  • Willingness to challenge the status-quo and develop new ways of working that align with our customers' needs
