Job description

We are looking for a Senior Shopify Developer to join our partner's rapidly growing global team. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset and a passion for thriving in a hyper-growth MarTech scale-up environment with a fast-paced product development cycle. This role is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging their skills in a dynamic organization and contributing to the success of a globally recognized, category-leading product.

Responsibilities:

Develop programs, applications, and websites using PHP (Laravel), Golang and Node.js together with Vue.js and JavaScript,
Improve performance, scalability, and availability of the systems,
Develop cutting-edge web applications with a user-centric approach,
Troubleshoot any issues as they arise, foresee and address potential problems proactively,
Collaborate with co-developers and other related departments to ensure maximum efficiency and arrive at world-class results,
Send regular updates about project status to related stakeholders,
Evaluate and take on tasks based on resolution priority and the greater company vision/goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or related departments,
4+ years of software product development experience,
Hands-on software product experience working with JavaScript and Vue.js,
Hands-on experience with Shopify api’s (GraphQL and REST API)
Experience in at least one of NodeJS, PHP (Laravel as a plus) or Golang technologies,
Hands-on experience in Docker,
Be familiar with software code tools such as Git,
Have experience driving technical projects, prioritizing work, identifying dependencies, facilitating technical decisions and cross-functional team discussions,
Understanding of the Shopify App ecosystem including how they work and how they are implemented,
Knowledge about features such as Shopify app pixel, Hydrogen, or Liquid etc.,
Good command of English,
Hands-on experience in AWS (as a plus).
