Taylor Engineering is currently seeking a mid-level Water Resources Engineer to work in any of our Florida locations (Jacksonville, Tampa, or Destin) or our Pennsylvania location (Philadelphia). The Water Resources Engineer will work with our Federal Programs supporting FEMA MT-2 Program - Letter of Map Revisions (LOMRs). This is a nation-wide project and will accomplish the mission through hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, model review, quality control, spatial data development and analysis, map production, and watershed management programs.
Job duties will involve managing and handling tasks associated with floodplain mapping and floodplain management, hydrology and hydraulics, and project reviews associated with FEMA LOMRs. Working under direct supervision, receiving specific and detailed instructions as to required tasks and expected results.
