Job description

Role: Partner Onboarding Contracts Specialist
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 12 Months+
Work Hours: US Time
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in Costa Rica)

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Partner Contracts Management Operations Specialist to drive the efficient management and execution of partner contracts. This role is integral to ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in contract lifecycle management with a strong focus on partner enablement and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partner Contracts Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee end-to-end partner contract processes, from creation and negotiation to execution and contracts lifecycle.
  • Ensure contracts are compliant with legal, regulatory, and business standards.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders on contract reviews, negotiations, and risk assessments.
  • Manage contracts related to mergers, acquisitions, and terminations of partner entities.

2. Operational Excellence in Partner Onboarding

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth onboarding.
  • Lead the setup and maintenance of partner contracts, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on onboarding and contract management processes

3. Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Conduct thorough partner screening and re-screening processes to ensure compliance with global standards.
  • Collaborate with Legal to resolve complex compliance issues and mitigate risks.
  • Maintain an up-to-date repository of partner contracts and associated documentation.

4. Systems & Process Optimization

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for contract management systems.
  • Develop and implement best practices to streamline contract processes and reduce operational inefficiencies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track contract management performance.

5. Strategic Partner Enablement

  • Support partner-centric initiatives by aligning contractual programs with business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and frameworks for partner contracts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners and internal teams on contract-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, CLM) are a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in contract management, Sales operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, regulatory compliance, and business operations.
  • Proficiency in contract management tools and CRM systems.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
