Role Name: Technical Virtual Assistant

Schedule:

  • Full-time (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Friday)

Client Timezone: PST/PDT (British Columbia, Canada)

Job Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Technical Virtual Assistant to join our growing team. This role combines technical acumen with administrative excellence, supporting our software business operations while managing crucial communication channels and administrative functions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while developing your skills in business administration and technical support. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and sees them through to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and organize email communications, ensuring timely responses and proper prioritization
  • Handle calendar management and scheduling, coordinating meetings across different time zones
  • Provide customer support and handle inquiries related to our software solutions
  • Assist with WordPress website maintenance and updates
  • Execute personal administrative tasks with attention to detail
  • Manage and organize documentation and digital files
  • Support technical operations and basic software-related tasks
  • Follow through on projects and tasks to ensure successful completion
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth business operations


Requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in email management and calendar coordination
  • Demonstrated proficiency with WordPress content management system
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn software applications quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to follow through and complete tasks independently
  • Experience with customer support or client service
  • Proficiency in standard business software (MS Office, Google Workspace)
  • Ability to work full-time during North American business hours (PST/PDT)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in software or technology industry
  • Understanding of A/B testing concepts
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Background in technical customer support
