The Role
We are seeking a strategic Director of Product & Customer Marketing to lead efforts in translating and showcasing the value of our solutions to current and prospective customers. This role is pivotal in bridging product positioning with customer success to drive deal conversions, product adoption, customer engagement, and revenue growth. You will lead a team of talented marketers and collaborate cross-functionally with our Product, Sales, and Customer Operations teams to craft compelling narratives, enable go-to-market stakeholders, and ensure customers realize the full value of the StarRez platform.

- Work Location: Remote (US)
- Travel: Less than 5% [The percent of travel is an estimation, and it could vary up or down based on business needs throughout the year.]
- Reporting Structure: Reports to SVP, Marketing.

What You Will Own
Own and drive the results of Product Marketing
- Lead the development and execution of informed and effective go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature updates.
- Oversee the definition and articulation of value propositions, messaging, and positioning for StarRez’s differentiated solutions across key segments and regions.
- Partner with Sales leaders to ensure the creation of impactful enablement tools including pitch decks, product one-pagers, competitive analyses, persona summaries, objection handling direction, FAQs, and more.
- Partner with the Product team to align on roadmaps and ensure that marketing strategies continually support business priorities.
- Collect, analyze, and use customer and competitive insights and market research to inform marketing strategies and drive decision-making.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on our industry and offerings both internally and externally, ensuring thoughtful representation of our brand and values.
Build and magnify the impact of a Customer Marketing function
- Partnering with Customer Operations leaders, develop and manage the execution of strategies to deepen customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Lead the development of case studies, testimonials, and success stories that showcase customer outcomes and enable Sales to close deals.
- Oversee the design, development, and growth of a vibrant customer advocacy program that encourages and rewards customer engagement, references, participation in user groups, promotional activities, and more.
- Support the management of our StarRez Customer Advisory Board (SABO), ensuring that customer feedback informs the product roadmap, that issues are communicated appropriately throughout the organization, and that members have a positive experience.
Lead and grow a high-performing team
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two direct reports to achieve team goals, with the potential to grow the team over time.
- Foster a kind, collaborative, and innovative team culture that prioritizes impact and growth.
- Continually monitor and report on the performance of Product and Customer Marketing initiatives, ensuring awareness of key wins throughout the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing or a related role.
- 2+ years of experience of managing, developing, and growing a team.
- Proven track record of successfully launching products and driving customer engagement strategies.
- Strong storyteller, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messaging tailored to specific audiences.
- Track record of driving, owning, and delivering results for large projects with excellent communication and project management skills.
- Analytically-oriented mindset, with clear examples of translating customer insights and market research into meaningful and strategic action
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in B2B SaaS, EdTech, PropTech, or a related industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with Sales Enablement and Customer Advocacy tools is a plus, including Seismic, Klue, Influitive, and others.

Compensation$140,000-$150,000 USD with a 20% bonus
