As a part of the AAA Northeast Travel Team, the Travel Service Coordinator will support the advisors in everyday booking and service functions, helping to achieve sales growth and provide excellent service. The Travel Service Coordinator will assist our advisors and members with various servicing functions needs before, during and after the booking process, maintaining a high level of organization and customer service. A keen understanding of the life cycle of the vacation planning process and what it entails is essential, using club systems and processes in mind to ensure a seamless member experience. The TSCs' goal in working closely with the travel sales team will be to support the advisor and ensure members have an exemplary booking and travel experience.

What you will do:

  • Top Notch Service- work closely with the advisors, members, and travel suppliers for booking needs as they arise. Build relationships with the advisors and members while promoting and supporting Club products, services, and initiatives. Use critical thinking in problem resolution when handling unique circumstances to ensure positive outcomes and exceptional service.
  • Administrative & Organizational Support- Assist advisors with booking details and organization from payment reminders to seat assignments and everything in between. Communicate key dates and updates on bookings to ensure smooth transactions. Work with travel partners for changes, updates, and final documents. Manage advisor’s client files digitally in accordance with all policies and procedures.
  • Travel Knowledge and Continued Learning- general understanding of the travel industry, trip booking process, and systems used in travel support. Keep abreast of industry changes and partner programs to provide continued learning and product knowledge. Maintains understanding of industry regulations, restrictions, and changes.
  • Brand Ambassador –Encouraged to use community and social networks to promote and grow sales and awareness for AAA Travel. Participate and attend industry events, including AAA hosted events to grow sales and represent the Club. Supports and promotes other departments and business lines by demonstrating an understanding of AAA member benefits to encourage member retention and engagement.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications

Education

 

  • High School Diploma or GED required and
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

 

 

Experience

 

  • 1-3 years Travel and/or Sales Experience required
