About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mobile development, with both deep technical knowledge and great communication skills. As a key member of the VTEX team, you’ll play a vital part in building a resilient, scalable commerce platform used by our clients across the world. In this role, you will discuss solution proposals and software architecture, actively contributing to the definition and execution of our strategic initiatives. You will focus on the mobile area (Android and IOS) to capture and send events from the stores. Additionally, web development knowledge will be considered an asset.

About the Team

You will be part of our Activity Flow team, responsible for tracking events in the front stores and creating an ecommerce metrics vision. The team has a massive impact on our operation, producing millions of events to our infrastructure. Our reach goes from the internal VTEX teams, extending to our Merchants with key insightful data.

Who You Are

You have exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate business challenges into clear problem statements, proposing cleaver solutions;
You have deep technical knowledge within the mobile development area, encompassing OS fundamentals, rendering strategies, and API design.
You always have quality and scalability in mind when proposing or building solutions, both on a day-to-day basis;
You have worked with Android and IOS environments;
You prioritize demands and solutions using a data-oriented approach;
Experience with events management;
Experience working with web development is a plus;
Experience working in ecommerce solutions is a plus.
