Job description

At Movement Labs, we are leading the way in blockchain technology with an open modular framework for building and deploying Move-based infrastructure, applications, and blockchains in any distributed environment. To support our growth in the dynamic APAC region, we’re seeking a Marketing Lead, APAC, to lead our regional strategy, foster community growth, and amplify our presence across key markets.

This role is ideal for a seasoned marketing leader with a deep understanding of the APAC region, particularly China and Korea, and the ability to execute impactful campaigns, build communities, and collaborate with local agencies to drive business outcomes.

You Will
  • Develop and execute the APAC marketing strategy

  • Lead marketing efforts in APAC, focusing on China, Korea, and Turkey while leveraging existing communities in Taiwan, Vietnam, and other Asian markets

  • Craft and deliver impactful narratives, ensuring Movement Labs resonates with diverse audiences across the region

  • Collaborate with media, influencers, and KOLs to increase visibility and drive engagement

  • Build and scale communities in key cities like Beijing, Seoul and Istanbul

  • Strengthen relationships with KOLs and other influential community members

  • Leverage and expand existing networks across APAC to grow Movement Labs' presence

  • Oversee regional projects, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with global marketing goals

  • Manage external agencies and partners to deliver high-impact campaigns and initiatives

  • Set and track performance metrics to evaluate the success of campaigns and strategies

  • Work cross-functionally with global teams, including marketing, business development, and community management, to align on strategy and execution

  • Manage and grow a high-performing team, fostering a culture of autonomy, collaboration, and ownership.

You Have
  • Extensive marketing background with 7+ years of experience in regional or global roles, ideally within the blockchain industry

  • Proven expertise in the Chinese and Korean markets, with a comprehensive understanding of the broader APAC region and Turkey

  • Experience building and managing communities, including working with influencers, KOLs, and other key stakeholders

  • Exceptional operational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, execute, and lead initiatives across multiple markets

  • Solid business acumen and the ability to identify and capitalize on regional growth opportunities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and proficiency in Mandarin and/or Korean a plus

  • A proactive and self-managing approach, capable of thriving in a fast-paced and autonomous environment.
