Bookkeeper with Xero and HubSpot Experience

South Africa; Remote R25 000 35 000 pm

Leading experts who work with organisations across multiple sectors to develop AI capabilities, are seeking a Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our team and support the financial operations and client relationship management of our growing business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in bookkeeping and a passion for working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Run reports, end of year accounts (which are coming up) etc are the most important elements, with Xero AND HubSpot experience being key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping and Financial Management:
    • Maintain accurate financial records using Xero.
    • Reconcile accounts, manage cash flow, and track expenses.
    • Prepare and process invoices and payments.
    • Chase outstanding invoices and manage debtor/creditor accounts.
    • Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and cash flow projections.
    • Support end-of-year financial processes, including liaising with external accountants.
  • CRM Management:
    • Work with HubSpot to manage client and contact data efficiently.
    • CRM updates.
  • General Administrative Support:
    • Flexibly adapt to other business needs, contributing to various tasks typical of a small business.
    • Communicate effectively with internal team members and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Proficiency in Xero with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
    • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining collaborative relationships.
  • Attributes:
    • Proactive and adaptable to the changing demands of a small business environment.
    • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
