Job description

TPAPT, a national nonprofit association of over 12,000 locally owned and operated tutoring and college advising programs, is seeking an experienced sales lead with a passion for education to join our team.

The position is more about building relationships vs. pushing a product. Having said that a normal day would involve scheduling and consulting to families interested in supplemental educational services such as Private Tutoring, College Readiness, and Executive Function Coaching and also building relationships with new and existing customers.

As our sales lead, you will be a key member of the team. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other departments, including marketing and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience. Ultimately, your work will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver on the promise of student success.

Responsibilities
  • Execute client outreach strategies to achieve enrollment goals
  • Sell and support highly personalized tutoring programs via inbound and outbound activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Conduct market research to identify potential new customers and opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns
  • Manage the client workflow from inquiry to closing enrollment
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in consultative selling in the education industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding enrollment goals
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
