Position Title
Front End Engineering SME
Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Front End Engineering subject matter expert (SME) to join our team. In this role, you will be working with a variety of teams in providing input, recommending input and guidance process change across the various Front End Engineering toolsets. A high degree of attention to detail and a superior quality work ethic are essential to this role. Qualified individuals must be able to work individually or in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Provide user inputs to tool development based on hands-on experience in FEE environment
- Ability & Flexibility to collaborate with geographically distributed team; experience with providing clear written and oral communication are essential
- In-depth understanding of CAM tools to perform design rule check (analysis) of printed circuit boards to inspect discrepancies between customer specifications and PCB design for production.
- Read, understand, and interpret purchase orders, travelers, prints, stack-ups, and drawings to verify that instructions generated and travelers created are accurate for each individual job
- Proficient knowledge of Genesis 2000 and InCAM Pro
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing process steps related to fabrication/routing methodologies and current capabilities.
- Understanding of industry and customer supplied specifications along with how to accurately interpret them for printed circuit board manufacturing
- Provide technical guidance and support to end-users
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge of Front End system architecture and design principles with an emphasis on how they interconnect with the factory to provide direction on improvement initiatives
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel as needed to support multi-site collaboration efforts

Education and Experience
- 7+ years of experience with Front End Engineering within the PCB industry required, Planning & production in multiple departments preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required; or at least 5 years work experience in lieu of educational requirement. STEM background preferred.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
