PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $25.67-$31.30 hourly. The full Pay Range is $21.11-$37.07 hourly. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. · Be the Expert: Serve as a resource for credit products, including business, real estate secured, and consumer loans, ensuring members receive accurate and relevant guidance.
· Drive Member Success: Deepen member relationships by leveraging the Member Advantage program and other initiatives that enhance their overall experience.
· Facilitate Lending Solutions: Conduct loan interviews, complete applications, and guide members through the lending process, ensuring accuracy and clarity at every step.
· Deliver Tailored Recommendations: Assess risks and identify the right appraisal options for real estate secured loans, providing members with informed and valuable insights.
· Ensure Excellence: Provide courteous, efficient, and professional service, resolving member concerns promptly and ensuring their satisfaction.
· Maximize Value: Focus on high-value relationships and transactions to optimize revenues while enhancing member benefits.
· Collaborate for Success: Partner with internal teams to identify market opportunities, enhance product offerings, and deliver exceptional member experiences.
· Mentor and Empower: Support new team members by sharing your expertise in lending products, processes, and application systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
· Minimum two years of financial service sales experience, or three years combined experience with outbound sales and financial services.
· Understanding of the sales process and ability to manage a sales pipeline efficiently.
· Successful completion of the consumer loans and member service training program with a minimum of one year of experience as a Member Consultant (including loan interviewing, funding, and processing) within BECU or another financial institution.
· Experience in originating lending applications.
· Comply with SAFE Act legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
· Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary.
Desired Qualifications:
· Verbal and written communication skills to connect effectively with members.
· Analytical skills and math proficiency with a high degree of accuracy.
· Thorough knowledge of RESPA, HMDA, Fair Lending, ECOA, and HUD rules and regulations.
