THE CHALLENGE

The Account Management Team is responsible for retaining and growing our fast-growing customer base, consisting of sales returning customers, as well as self sign-on event creators. The team’s main focus is to maximize value from their account book of business by retaining the best-fit customers through contract renewals and upsell opportunities.

 

THE TEAM

The Account Management Team operates at high velocity outreach, engaging with creators at the right commercial moments throughout their customer journey. This team is responsible for understanding event creators’ business trends in order to identify opportunities for mutual growth.

 

THE ROLE

As a Senior Account Manager, you will manage Large/Enterprise accounts to achieve sales targets, generate new business opportunities, and foster long-term relationships.

 

YOU WILL
  • Build and maintain valued relationships with customers to ultimately drive business growth and ensure retention
  • Accurately forecast revenue on a quarterly and yearly basis
  • Articulate and position the value Eventbrite drives for our customers (with a focus on proven success and ROI) through consistent measurement, reporting, and check-ins 
  • Manage all renewal, contract negotiation, and commercial activities for customers
  • Work cross-functionally to identify growth opportunities, resolution strategies, and ultimately structure contract agreements that drive long-term value to both the organizer and the company.  
  • Identify upsell opportunities within the existing account base - prioritizing high value accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities through referrals to regularly deliver leads to the acquisition team 
  • Continuously deliver feedback to leadership teams and participate in process improvements and optimization of existing procedures
  • Responsible for feeding back to the business on competitive threat 
  • ​​In collaboration with other business units, actively help tell the Eventbrite story through thought leadership contributions, including case studies, client success stories, and other marketing materials

 

THE SKILL SET
  • 4-5 years experience in a Sales or Customer Success/Account Management role with a focus on revenue growth and contract negotiation contract negotiation
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer renewals and upsells with a SaaS product to attain predetermined goals and quotas
  • Proven ability to manage a large book of business
  • Strong organization skills and superb capabilities with managing a large volume of tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), meticulous attention to detail, and a resourceful problem-solving attitude
  • Experience using CRM software (Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Applications (Analytics, Docs, Sheets, Slides)

  • Previous experience in the event or ticketing industry
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Experience using Groove, Gong

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
