Job description

Job Summary

The Renewals Specialist will support the Renewals Manager in managing the lifecycle of service contracts, with a focus on contract renewals and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This role demands a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills. The Renewals Specialist will work closely with the Contract Manager and other departments to facilitate the smooth execution and renewal of contracts.

Essential Job Functions

  • Renewals Management: Oversee the renewal process for service contracts, ensuring timely and accurate renewals. Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to negotiate renewal terms and conditions.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all contract renewals, including correspondence and documentation related to negotiations.
  • Compliance: Monitor contract compliance and address any issues that may arise. Ensure all contracts are executed in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure that contract renewals are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on contract renewal status, timelines, and any issues or risks related to contract renewals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Experience in contract management or renewals, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple contract renewals simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contract management.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
