We are currently seeking a Tester to join our team in REMOTE, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

Job Description:
The Tester thoroughly evaluates the software products according to the business standards or function requirements. The Tester performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills.

The Tester isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects and verifies fixes. Develops test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements. Very familiar with the software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3 years of technical testing experience
  • Isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects and verifies fixes Develops test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements Experience testing/working with IBM Watson or testing Voice/IVR call flows, test case automation, writing SQL queries, using qTest and Azure DevOps, utilizing SOAP UI/Postman and Cyara for call load testing Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
