Your mission

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced (Senior) Cloud & Platform Engineer to join our team.Â
Your mission is to bring our core infrastructure to the next level by creating scalable, secure, and efficient cloud platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and directly contribute to the reliability and scalability of our services, which are critical in improving patients' lives.

Your responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud platforms with high availability, performance, and security.
Engineer and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows.
Build, scale, secure, and monitor infrastructure to support development and production environments.
Support cloud migrations and manage event-driven systems, including asynchronous workloads and message queues.
Document processes, configurations, and infrastructure decisions to ensure high-quality knowledge sharing.
Enhance developer experience by implementing tools and frameworks that improve productivity.
Address security vulnerabilities through rigorous testing and proactive risk mitigation.
Maintain and support self-hosted services critical to product infrastructure.

What are we looking for?

At least 3 years of experience building scalable cloud platforms.
Familiarity with either AWS or GCP (decision pending).
Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with Python-based API implementations.
Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with event-driven systems, including queues and asynchronous workloads.
Solid understanding of relational databases and their management in cloud environments.
Experience with object storage solutions (e.g., S3, GCS) for scalable data management.
Strong documentation skills and a highly structured approach to work.
Experience in creating and maintaining secure and efficient cloud environments.
Ability to monitor and optimize infrastructure for reliability and performance.
A strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
Familiarity with modern networking and security tools is beneficial.
Experience with cloud migrations is a strong advantage.

Good-to-have:Â

Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, etc.).
Experience working with DICOM and/or in the Radiology field is a big plus
Experience working in a fast paced startup environment.
Basic knowledge in data engineering is a plus (DBT, Airflow)
