Job description

  • Remote/hybrid work options
  • Competitive salary with incentives/equity options
  • Impactful and rewarding role helping us improve men’s health

G’day, we’re Mosh

Our mission is to get Aussie men & women the best possible health outcomes through best-in class health programs. We know the current healthcare system is not meeting the needs of the modern Australian, and we reckon there’s a better, more holistic way. Our solutions for hair loss, sexual health, skin care, mental health and weight management are easy, affordable and completely discreet.

We believe there is no better time than now, that action is better than words and that results trump dreams.  We’re scaling up our operations and are on the hunt for the best and brightest to help us fulfil our mission.

More than a job

There’s nothing better than the feeling that what you’re doing matters and makes a difference. We’re pretty lucky this is the norm and not the exception for us.

The impact you’ll make:

We're looking for an impact-driven DevSecOps Engineer to build secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure for the Mosh platform and products (including our sister brand, Moshy). As a DevSecOps engineer, you’ll be hands-on in ensuring that security is baked into every step of our development lifecycle. You’ll work collaboratively with others across product, engineering and design to deliver best-in-class experiences that allow Mosh to fulfil its promise of an amazing, discreet healthcare journey.

Things you’ll do:

Driven by your passion and commitment to deliver value, you’ll work collaboratively with others to build the best user experiences. On a day to day basis you’ll also:

  • Integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines, automating processes from code commit to deployment.
  • Architect, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure in AWS with security, scalability, and reliability as top priorities.
  • Implement, monitor, and refine application and infrastructure observability—this includes establishing and fine-tuning alerting, logging, and metrics collection (e.g., DataDog).
  • Help us achieve and maintain our ISO 27001 certification
  • Work with the CTO and engineering teams to ensure our platform’s technical foundation remains robust and secure.
  • You will fundamentally shape the engineering team’s vibe. Open feedback, good communication, and bias for action are a must.
  • Help us build a high performance engineering culture based on trust, transparency and autonomy.

Experience you’ll bring:

We’re looking for someone who can get stuff done and brings a proactive, positive attitude to whatever they do. If this and the below sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

  • 5+ years in a DevSecOps-focused role, with proven experience in securing and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience integrating security tools and practices (SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning, secret management) into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of observability solutions such as DataDog, Splunk, or similar, and how to implement them effectively.
  • Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, IAM (Identity & Access Management), and other fundamental security concepts.
  • Experience with automated testing and a drive to champion security testing and continuous deployment best practices.
  • Experience at a Startup company.

What's on offer

We hire teammates that share our values, believe in our mission and are passionate about the future of healthcare. Some of the reasons our team loves Mosh include:

  • Join us in Surry Hills! Work flexibly with 3 days in the office and 2 from home. Sydney preferred, but all Aussie applicants welcome!
  • Lots of opportunity to learn and grow with the company with access to on-demand training
  • Access to up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Discounts on a range of Mosh products and services
  • Two extra days of holiday leave each year
  • Two days for purpose leave ( Mental health or L&D)
  • Full access to Go1 eLearning platform
  • EAP and access to online wellbeing programs
  • Classpass credits
  • Working with a creative, friendly and collaborative bunch in a dog friendly office
  • Making a real, positive impact on the lives of others

Better, together

Everyone is different and we think that’s what makes life interesting. We’re committed to building and maintaining an inclusive culture. We believe that our differences create new ideas, offer unique perspectives and speak on behalf of all of our customers. If you think you have what it takes but don't check all the boxes, reach out anyway - we’d love to hear from you.

P.S. We love a good cover letter. The more you, the better.
