We're on the hunt for an experienced CEE Business Controller Deputy who will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity and optimizing processes whilst contributing to the company’s long-term financial strategy. A successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to CEE Business Controller and operational/commercial Team to build a  high-performance Controlling team by developing a pro-active strategic Business partnering organization

What you’ll do at Elekta  

As a trusted Business Partner to the Cluster Management Team, you will provide support to all functions in driving business performance and sustainable growth. The position is strategically important with the aim to improve the financial knowledge and understanding across the Cluster. The CEE Business Controller Deputy responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

  • Drive the long-term planning, budget and forecasting processes across the Cluster countries.
  • Timely and relevant financial analysis to understand the drivers of business performance and to support decision making.
  • Provide pricing analysis and develop commercial collaboration to improve pricing across the Cluster through constructive challenging business partnering.
  • Financial reporting for assigned legal entities in group accounting system to ensure completeness, clarity of information is maintained and timeliness of submissions.
  • Organize and manage LCs in relevant legal entity and ensure timely presentation of documents to collect under the LC if applicable. Work collaboratively with Group Treasury.
  • Organize and oversee effective cash collection for the Cluster and in coordination with the Cluster strategy and targets.
  • Ensure all relevant internal controls as per the Elekta RACM are performed adequately and consistently across the Cluster legal entities falling into the designated responsibility scope.
  • Responsible for consolidating the Territory monthly and quarterly financial reports and compiling any Territory business performance input to the Cluster Management Team (including Dashboards and Scorecards).
  • Coordinate efficiency and accuracy of financial statements for the legal entities within the CEE Territory with EBS Support.
  • Ensure Compliance with local requirements for VAT, IntraStat, CIT & Taxes for the CEE Territory legal entities by EBS.
  • Oversee, coordinate & ensure timely completion of annual audit and local financial statements’ certification through efficient EBS leverage.
  • Support different projects such as BI development and user support and drive improvement in BI-usage across the Territory

What you’ll bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline - master’s degree preferred
  • CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification nice to have
  • Advanced skills in financial analysis and business reporting, proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Extensive experience in Business Control and Accounting
  • Preferably prior knowledge of the Medtech industry
  • Fluent English and Romanian or Polish.
  • Ability to travel as required
