The Role:

This is a customer-facing Web Applications Administrator role within our professional services team. The role entails consulting clients during implementation planning and execution, serving as a subject matter expert on our portfolio of APIs and advanced integration patterns.

As an enterprise software vendor to insurance companies, we are seeking an experienced technical professional with a strong background in supporting complex enterprise integrations through all common patterns in a customer-facing capacity. This role is pivotal within our professional services team, assisting clients in architecting how our software seamlessly integrates into their existing ecosystems. Therefore, this position demands both deep technical expertise and the capability to discuss solutions with clients at both a high-level strategic and detailed technical level.


Integration Experience should include:

  • Designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Utilizing Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Middleware toolsets (such as Mulesoft, Boomi, Workato, etc.).
  • Developing API test harnesses, Postman collections, and similar tools.
  • Working with databases such as MongoDB and SQL Server for data integration and transformation.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, code repository management, and automated deployments.


Specific Duties:

  • Rapidly acquire comprehensive knowledge of our surety bond management software.
  • Attain expertise in our integration mechanisms and thoroughly understand the accompanying technical documentation.
  • Develop auxiliary tools to support client implementations, including detailed system flows, data crosswalks, transformation tables, and related resources.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations during client engagements, ensuring clear and precise communication.
  • Support delivery by authoring and executing test cases for new integrations, ensuring robust and reliable deployment.


Experience & Characteristics We Seek:

Extensive client-facing experience.

  • Prior experience as an Administrator, Analyst, BSA, or similar role involving integrations within the banking, insurance, or other financial services industries.
  • Proficiency with web services/APIs and a proven track record of documenting them.
  • Expertise in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting web-based integrations (APIs).
  • Strong familiarity with databases, including MongoDB and SQL Server.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline creation, code repository management, and automated deployments.
  • Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Highly self-motivated and driven to excel.
