The Application Sales Manager (Print Optimisation & Planning) is tasked with supporting the sales of Phoenix across the EMEA region, with a specific focus on the packaging and label sectors.

In this role, they will be responsible for advocating & demoing this pioneering product, guiding customers through a transformative journey towards improved automation, quality enhancement and costs savings.

Furthermore, they serve as the technical authority for the Phoenix product, ensuring effective customer communication, collaborating with the sales team to create and deliver customized sales presentations, identifying opportunities for additional sales, and offering comprehensive pre and post-sales support.

In this role, a typical day will look like:
  • Pre-Sales Support: Provide technical expertise and conduct product demonstrations, Support the sales team throughout the sales cycle, Analyze customer workflows and design tailored solutions

  • Customer Success: Manage post-sale follow-ups and address customer needs, Monitor implementations to ensure long-term satisfaction and operational success, Implement customer success program with regular follow-ups

  • Deployment Responsibilities: Deploy software and conduct remote training sessions, Ensure successful implementation of the software, Provide training and support to customers to maximize the software's effectiveness

The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus

  • Strong technical expertise in Label and Folding Carton sectors. Preferrably, you already have in-depth knowledge of Esko's software solutions. and experience in pre-sales support

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to travel as required

  • Business Acumen: Exhibit expert knowledge in business processes, with a focus on ROI-based decision-making models.
