Salesforce Inc. seeks Lead Data Scientist – Sales in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Create high-visibility data products and decision-making tools for Salesforce’s leaders. Work on problems like forecasting important business metrics such as sales and capacity, churn, and propensity modeling to retain and grow customer base, clustering and classification. Build end-to-end data science products - develop, maintain, and produce new and existing models and algorithms that underpin our data science applications. Review and update existing data, models, and algorithms to ensure that they remain relevant and to the changes in the broader economy as well as Salesforce’s own business. Acquire, prepare and analyze large volumes of internal Salesforce data including data about Product Utilization, Sales, and Marketing activities to discover patterns, derive actionable product insights, and drive development strategies. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

Salary: $158,642.00 - $236,500.00 per annum.
