Role Overview :
Ready to help hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs and SMBs sell more products and services? We're searching for an outstanding Product Owner to lead the transactions portion of our product, which consists of the booking and eCommerce platform for our customers.
We're at an exciting moment in our journey, with ambitious plans to scale our impact and reach in the service and e-commerce customers. This is a high-stakes role where you'll own the complete product lifecycle of a platform trusted and used by hundreds of thousands of businesses worldwide.
We're looking for someone that can build real empathy for our customers' needs, and build a product that helps them with their challenges. You’ll understand that success of the product needs to be seen through the lens of real customer value, not just KPI's moving in the right direction. You'll champion the end-to-end user journey, from discovery to support, with a relentless focus on solving genuine problems that our customers face.
As the transactions team product owner, you'll be leading our transactions product team, which consists of a truly cross functional team with the sole purpose of building a great product that truly empowers our users.
You'll form part of the larger website builder group which consists of two other product teams (focused on the website builder portion of the website, and our online discovery team) all of which being led by Nick, our Head of product.
What you’ll be doing:
Own the product backlog based on a deep understanding of our customer needs, business value and data driven insights.
Drive the execution of the product roadmap of our transactions team, ensuring alignment across all teams.
Shape the eCommerce & booking platform product vision across multiple international markets.
Work closely with our UX, research & data teams to transform market research into actionable, high value product strategies.
Lead cross-functional collaboration between engineering, design & UX, and marketing.
Be exceptionally close to our customers and champion their needs in every product decision.
Partner with our packaging & pricing team to develop market strategies that maximize profitability and market share while maximizing customer value.
Steer the GTM for the product across all countries.
Be elbow-deep and hands on with the team in execution.
What you bring to the table:
Core Requirements
4+ years of experience as a product owner.
Owning a product or large feature set holistically, end to end.
Having previously led a cross-functional team (even if it is across departments).
Essential Qualities
A rare combination of business acumen, technical understanding, and design sensibility.
Data-driven decision-making skills with strong analytical capabilities.
Ability to thrive in uncertainty while maintaining clear direction.
Inspiringly strong communication skills - you can discuss detailed technical specifications and also pitch our product vision to your grandparents.
You can dive deep into pixel-perfect detail while maintaining a 30'000 ft vision.
