Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Remote (CST Time zone)
Salary Range: up to 2000 USD

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to own key financial operations and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of accounting principles, significant expertise in QuickBooks and either NetSuite or Sage, and experience in private equity or real estate businesses. This role requires critical thinking, collaboration with controllers, and a proactive approach to optimizing financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and manage all transactions across multiple fund entities.
Collaborate with the Controller to prepare financial statements and internal KPI metrics.
Develop and oversee the Accounts Payable process.
Partner with third-party fund administrators to manage the NAV process.
Work with cost segregation experts to determine depreciation schedules.
Actively identify opportunities to improve margins and financial efficiency.

Qualifications:

10+ years of accounting experience, preferably with private equity funds, private equity-owned businesses, or real estate.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and either NetSuite or Sage (5+ years of experience).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple entities and processes.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
High motivation and ambition, with a focus on achieving career and company growth.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in an EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) environment.
Familiarity with cost segregation processes and financial reporting standards.
