DevOps Engineer
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining the infrastructure, tools, and processes needed to streamline software development, deployment, and operations. This role bridges the gap between development and operations teams by implementing automation, monitoring, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance efficiency and reliability. The DevOps Engineer will optimize system performance, ensure scalability, and promote best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC) and cloud management. Key responsibilities include managing deployments, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring a secure and efficient development environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, availability, and cost-efficiency
Qualifications
- US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles.
- Proficiency with tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container orchestration.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) and familiarity with version control systems
The salary range provided represents the estimated compensation for new hires in this position, applicable across all locations. Actual offers may vary based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and market conditions.
