Job description

Title: Digital Documentation Management Specialist
Location: Remote Anywhere (with occasional travel)
Type: Contract
Duration: End of June with possibility for extension

Job Description: The company is seeking Documentation Management Consultant, aka HealthPlan Mailroom Subject Matter Expert, to set up the mailroom from scratch as they are bringing in-house. They are implementing a new OCR (Optical Character Recognition), TotalAgility, for digitization of physical documents, text recognition, and data processing and integration for claims processing, member enrollment, compliance and auditing, EOB and invoice management, and medical records. E.g. a claim comes in, they open, scan, make sure you can read all of the fields, and submit into the claims system. Make it clean in case they need to go back for clarification. They will do other external mail for other departments as well. Open, scan, and index.


Must Have Skills:
  • Digital Documentation Management Specialist aka Health Plan Mailroom Subject Matter Expert within a Health Plan
  • Project Management type skills
  • OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software experience
Plus:
  • Tungsten TotalAgility/Kofax OCR experience
