Job Description:

Unilog, a leader in Product Content & eCommerce solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Product Marketing Manager to join our team. This role is critical to the success of our product portfolio, driving product adoption, customer engagement, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and technical acumen, with experience in product marketing for SaaS or technology companies.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive GTM plans for product launches and feature updates.
    • Collaborate with product management, sales, and marketing teams to define product positioning, target audiences, and messaging.
  2. Product Positioning and Messaging:
    • Craft compelling product positioning and messaging that resonate with target market segments.
    • Highlight unique selling points (USPs) and ensure alignment with the company’s overall brand and value proposition.
  3. Sales Enablement:
    • Create sales tools, such as pitch decks, brochures, case studies, and competitive battle cards, to empower the sales team.
    • Conduct training sessions to ensure the sales team effectively communicates product benefits and differentiation.
  4. Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct research to identify customer pain points, industry trends, and competitive threats.
    • Translate insights into actionable strategies to drive product and marketing success.
  5. Content Development:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create product-focused content, including blogs, whitepapers, videos, and webinars.
    • Ensure all content is aligned with the product’s messaging and supports lead generation efforts.
  6. Customer and Partner Engagement:
    • Collaborate with customer success teams to develop programs that promote product adoption and customer retention.
    • Support channel partners by providing marketing resources and training to effectively market Unilog’s products.
  7. Product Lifecycle Management:
    • Manage the marketing strategy for all stages of the product lifecycle, from launch to updates to end-of-life.
    • Work with product management to incorporate customer feedback into product roadmaps.
  8. Event and Webinar Support:
    • Support the marketing team/event manager with product messaging, etc., to support webinars, trade shows, and customer events.
  9. Performance Measurement:
    • Track and report on the performance of product marketing initiatives using KPIs like lead conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and campaign ROI.
    • Recommend adjustments to improve campaign outcomes and product adoption.
  10. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with product management, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to align on product development and marketing initiatives.
    • Act as the voice of the customer to ensure the product meets market needs.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3+ years of product marketing experience in a SaaS, eCommerce, or technology environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, and analytics platforms.
    • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and integrations is a plus.
  • Competencies:
    • Customer-focused mindset with a strong understanding of buyer personas and customer journeys.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Team player with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
