Role Name: Social Media Specialist

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM 1 hour unpaid break

  • Manage daily social media activities, including post scheduling, community engagement, and prompt response to comments and messages
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate email marketing initiatives with social media efforts, ensuring a cohesive multi-channel approach
  • Analyze social media metrics and prepare insightful reports to guide strategy refinement and demonstrate ROI
  • Assist in organizing and leveraging the existing client database for targeted social media campaigns and personalized engagement
  • Stay abreast of social media trends and insurance industry developments to keep the agency’s content fresh and relevant
  • Contribute creative ideas for special campaigns or promotions to attract new clients and reinforce relationships with existing ones
Requirements
  • Proven track record in social media management, preferably within the insurance, financial services, or related professional services sector
  • Deep understanding of major social media platforms, their unique features, and best practices for business use
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences
  • Creative mindset with a talent for producing engaging, shareable content that resonates with both B2B and B2C audiences
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Basic knowledge of email marketing principles and how they integrate with social media strategies
  • Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong communication with the team
