Here are the main activities of GreenTomatoMedia :

• 💻MEDIA with a network of 1500+ websites in 8 languages with more than 1 million high-value visitors per month in different thematics (Finance, Crypto, iGaming) & a few fast-growing Youtube Channels.
  => We generate revenues thanks to affiliate marketing.
• 📱MOBILE APPLICATIONS with a portfolio of 50+ apps downloaded 20+ million times.
  => Our source of revenue comes from a subscription model and in-app purchases.

Why we want you?
Our team is developing and maintaining web applications to streamline our internal workflows and external services.
We are looking for a talented junior developer to assist in improving, expanding, and maintaining our Django-based projects and associated deployment pipelines.
The candidate will be mainly involved in back-end development tasks which will require skills in python and django framework. Along with that, having frontend development skills will give you advantage over other candidates.

Who are we looking for?
We're seeking a self-motivated individual who will be able to:

• Work on existing Django and Django Rest Framework codebases.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable Python code.
• Assist in designing application features and addressing functional requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices.
• Contribute to the deployment of the existing applications.
• Write unit tests in python and do QA of existing applications.

What key skills are we seeking?

• Proficiency in Python and the Django framework.
• Familiarity with Django Rest Framework (DRF) and backend API Development.
• Experience with SQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL etc
• Experience with Git, GitHub/Gitlab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic understanding of Linux Commands, Containerisation, Docker etc.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Having experience with Google Big Query, Looker Studio is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React.js.
• Experience with Typescript is a plus
• Familiarity with JavaScript ecosystem tools and libraries.

Interview process: 

If you have been selected amongst other candidates you will receive an email with a booking link for your initial interview. 

1st step: HR initial interview: The meeting will be conducted by HR, and will last between 30 minutes and 1 hour. It will cover your previous experiences and the reasons why you want to join the company

2nd step: Written test to evaluate your knowledge and skills (we will give you 1 week to complete it). The test will help you to apprehend the position you are applying for, so if you like to do the test, then you will love working in our company.

3rd step: You will meet the manager for a final interview that will last around 1 hour.
