What’s the job? 
Are you passionate about driving digital transformation and enhancing the employee experience? We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Product Owner to lead the delivery of innovative Digital Workplace solutions that empower our teams and improve the staff experience to ultimately drive positive student outcomes. 

 

In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to define and prioritise product features, develop strategic capability roadmaps, and lead technical delivery with a dedicated squad. You’ll play a key role in optimising and integrating essential platforms such as SharePoint Online, Intranet, Microsoft Teams, Monday.com, ServiceNow, Workday and a number of other collaboration tools to enable seamless digital capabilities and operational excellence. The role will also work enablement and change programs to ensure the organisation is equipped with the knowledge to extract maximum value from our solutions and ensure cohesion in our eco system of tools.

Day-to-day accountabilities: 
Accountabilities include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Roadmap Development and Execution: Deliver a clear and actionable product roadmap that drives business growth, creates efficiencies and meets stakeholder expectations. Define a clear strategy for the technology within scope of the portfolio. 

  • Technical Delivery: Achieve high levels of efficiency and quality in product delivery, resulting in successful product releases. 

  • Stakeholder Management: Achieve high levels of stakeholder satisfaction and engagement, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. 

  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, leading to enhanced product delivery processes. 

  • Leadership and Team Development: Build and maintain a high-performing, motivated, and engaged squad that consistently delivers high-quality products. 

  • Budget and Resource Management: Ensure efficient and effective use of resources, delivering products on time and within budget. 

Who you are: 

You are a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital and technology leadership. You excel in leading cross-functional teams, driving product innovation, and delivering high-impact solutions. Your strong technical expertise, combined with excellent communication and leadership skills, makes you the ideal candidate for this role. 

 

Experience: 

  • 5-10 years of experience across digital and technology industries 

  • At least 5 years of leadership experience 

Technical Skills: 

  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) 

  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) 

  • Knowledge of software development processes and lifecycle 

Soft Skills: 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 

  • Proven leadership experience in managing high-performing teams 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various departments 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience 

  • Professional certifications are highly desirable
