Overview:
An exciting opportunity to become a Senior Operations Manager for our Dependency and Recovery (D&R) Services has become available. We are looking for a leader with the right mix of operational flair, strong customer relations skills, excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills; with focus on high quality/performance and service delivery to take over this role.
What you will be doing?:
Reporting to the Head of Probation Services, responsible for a portfolio of Community based Dependency and Recovery Probation Services, across London and Yorkshire and the Humber.
The Senior Operations Manager has responsibility for project management and continuous improvement, with the ability to provide leadership, direction, and accountability ;achieving the highest levels of performance, meeting and exceeding the Trust's drive, resulting in unmatched levels of support to the clients within our care.
Directly managing the Service/Operations Managers and responsible and accountable for the full range of operational performance, quality and financial targets across their contract portfolio, as well as providing management oversight/contract management to our subcontractors.
The Senior Operations Manager, will work collaboratively with other managers, and staff across the organisation to develop opportunities to enhance the charity’s mission and manage the performance of existing services.

- Educated to at least degree level in a relevant discipline, or with equivalent related experience.

- Knowledge of issues relating to criminal justice, desistance, addiction, and recovery;
- A role model to the wider staff team, reflecting professional, values-based leadership;

- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Demonstrates gravitas and credibility in order to represent the organisation and build confidence internally and externally;

Desirable
- Knowledge of issues relating to criminal justice, desistance, addiction, and recovery;
- Deep knowledge of the issues facing charities, together with the legal, and financial context and the statutory responsibilities of the role.
- Experience of working within a non-profit, values-led organisation and a demonstrable record of delivery in such an environment, and of delivering services in that area with a track record of success.
