Job description

About Addi

We are a technology company working to transform credit and banking in Latin America starting with point of sale finance. We aim to build fair, simple, and affordable financial services that empower our clients, treat them with dignity, and build financial freedom. We launched in February 2019 and have already served millions of clients and disbursed millions of dollars.

We operate as a full-stack startup. We have built our core systems and processes from scratch, and we believe our technology and analytics platform will drive our progress in the years to come. We come at this with deep experience building and growing technology teams and financial products. As important as what we do is how we do it. We are a conscious company and are deeply committed to working and living our five core values - A company of owners inspiring colleagues, we pull rabbits out of hats, we care and we trust, act with integrity, win today every day, and scale exponentially.

We are backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Monashees, Village Global, and an outstanding team of individual angels, including Kevin Ryan, Josh Abramowitz, and Scott Weiss.

What you will do
  • Support the equity and debt raising process, by creating financial models and marketing materials (e.g. pitch decks), coordinating internal and external parties on due diligence processes, among others. Additionally, as Capital Market Analyst you will also provide analysis on existing debt facilities that allow us to improve and optimize our leverage and general cash position.

  • Prepare and deliver complete sets of pitch materials (e.g., pitch decks, models, and due diligence packages) for equity or debt transactions, directly contributing to closing at least one major funding round.

  • Ensure the accurate completion of the annual credit reviews of existing facilities by coordinating internal and external team and answering questions on our operations

  • Support leverage and cash position improvements by creating analysis of our cash waterfall and loan sale process, helping to achieve a 90% leverage.

  • Successfully create an ‘ever-green’ VDR which allow us to streamline our DD process with lenders.

  • Act as a liaison between Capital Markets and other key teams such as Treasury, FP&A, and risk by evaluating the proposals from other teams and provide data to support reporting (both internal and external).

Requirements
  • 2+ years in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Debt Funds, Corporate Finance, Strategy, Investor Relations, or similar capital market-related positions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in finance.

  • Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to analyze financial statements.

  • Proficiency in creating high-quality presentations for management and counterparties using MS PowerPoint and Google Slides.

  • Basic understanding of due diligence processes and industry research.

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities.

Benefits
  • Work on a problem that matters and help change customers’ lives.

  • Build a lasting company from the very beginning, helping define every aspect of it.

  • Massive market opportunity ahead of us; we are growing faster than pretty much any other fintech lender was at our stage.

  • Work alongside a great and diverse team that cares about what we are doing and how we are doing it.

  • Generous compensation, including equity, 100% health insurance (and 100% for dependents), flexible time-off, and learning budget.

How the hiring process looks like
  • Meet with our recruiter for a 30-minute video chat. We will get to know you better, understand what you’re looking for, and answer any questions you might have about ADDI.

  • Meet with part of our Capital Markets team for a 60-minute video chat interview. Here, we will ask you to do a live technical Excel evaluation where they will evaluate your modelling skills and financial statements analysis.

  • Meet with our Capital Markets manager and our Risk & Finance Business Lead for a 45 minute interview to talk about your experience and financial knowledge.

  • Meet with one of our founders for a 30-minute chat to talk about the vision of the company, what we are building, and how you will contribute to our product.
