Accounts Payable Specialist at GuidePoint Security LLC (‘GuidePoint’) will assist in coordinating payment activities related to services, materials, and supplies for the Company and its vendors. This position has responsibility for routine and non-routine transactions and performs simple to moderate accounting activities related to the maintenance of the accounts payable function. This position is a remote/virtual position working from a home office.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Input various Accounts Payable transactions related to the request for disbursements to suppliers and other vendors. Obtain approvals as needed.
Setup new or update vendor names and account data. Request W-9 and ACH information or other payment details for new vendors.
Communication and resolution regarding discrepancies surrounding Accounts Payable invoices and other transactions.
Ensure invoices are added to payment file based on due date.
Maintaining vendor records of paid and unpaid invoices, including vendor statement reconciliations when required.
Perform accounting functions as assigned to provide management with financial information that can be used in making business decisions.
Other special projects or duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

Associates degree in business, finance or accounting
3-5 years Accounts Payable or other related accounting experience
Attention to detail is a must
Possesses the ability to self-manage and adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected shifts in priorities while maintaining focus and productivity in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work a flexible work schedule is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
