ModMed is hiring a driven MIPS Specialist to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing MIPS Advising Team! The MIPS Specialist provides responses and high-level assistance to non-MIPS Advising customers for escalated MIPS cases coming in from the Support team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide excellent customer service to medical practices within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine!

Your Role:

  • Provide consistent, professional, and high-quality client support responses and assistance
  • Follow established procedures to ensure client satisfaction and quality service delivery
  • Communicate customer responses in an efficient and effective manner 
  • Answers Tier 2 and 3 escalated MIPS questions assigned by Support
  • Use sound judgement skills to identify when to provide an answer to customers, suggest a MIPS Q&A, or escalate customer inquiries to MIPS Advising
  • Assist the MIPS Advising team in creating/updating ModMed Community MIPS QRGs and other documents

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in evaluating, troubleshooting, and following up on customer issues
  • Experience utilizing bug-tracking software such as Salesforce and Jira
  • Experience within a medical practice and/or EMR experience is a plus
  • Excellent written communication skills required 
  • Basic knowledge of Apple platforms: Mac, iPad, iPhone/iPad iOS
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time
  • Willingness to stay current and adapt to changes
