WHAT YOU WILL LEAD AND MANAGE

  • This Territory Manager position, based in Auckland, (covering the North Island, excluding Wellington), will manage the achievement of annual revenue goals and will be responsible for the sales and support of consumables and medical devices.
  • The role will be responsible for upholding & promoting the image, quality & professionalism of the brand and will provide prospective customers with accurate information and solutions that best address their needs.
  • The position will prepare quotations, provide monthly rolling forecasts to the sales manager and inform customers of the availability of service and maintenance programs.
  • You will closely liaise with the service department to ensure customer problems are resolved as quickly as possible and manage a CRM database.
  • You will provide thorough in-service training to each customer and user of the products and provide ongoing applications support and first level technical assistance where possible.
  • You will attend exhibitions and submit loan requests to customer service.
  • You will verify customer payment status with accounts and assist in collecting overdue invoices if required.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business, marketing, or a related field or equivalent industry & work experience.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in medical devices within the operating theatre environment (however, there is NO on-call in this role).
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication skills spanning executive level presentation and concise in-theatre instruction to critical negotiation and diplomacy.
