Job Title: Construction Contract Manager - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Contract Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in overseeing various construction projects, ensuring they are executed to the highest standards while promoting our mission of creating remarkable experiences through exceptional service and food offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee proposals, contracts, Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, pay applications, and change orders using tools such as DocuSign, Procore, Oracle, and Smartsheet.
  • Track project invoices to guarantee timely payments to third-party vendors as per contract stipulations.
  • Collaborate with vendors to procure owner-furnished equipment and manage associated costs.
  • Solicit bids from General Contractors for new restaurant construction projects and provide cost analyses for prospective locations.
  • Coordinate with contractors to handle pay applications and lien waivers, ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
  • Compile and distribute project closeout documentation, warranty reports, and field operating manuals.
  • Ensure all invoices are processed during project closeout and deliver a comprehensive final cost report to the Director of Construction within 30 days.
  • Review lease documents to ascertain reimbursement and maintenance obligations.
  • Work in tandem with Accounts Payable and Financial Planning & Analysis teams for effective invoice processing and financial forecasting.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of construction terminology, materials, blueprints, and financial processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities.
  • Analytical and critical thinking capabilities with a proven ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.
  • Self-motivated individual who can hold themselves and others accountable in a remote work setting.
  • Experience in multi-unit environments such as retail, hospitality, or restaurants is preferred.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management, finance, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in ground-up construction, engineering, or architecture.
  • Familiarity with reviewing and processing construction contracts and understanding financial implications.
