Task Force General Manager - Remote | WFH

As a Task Force General Manager, you will serve as an essential representative of our organization, embodying our values and strategic vision. This role demands a comprehensive oversight of operations across your designated properties while providing crucial leadership, support, and mentorship to both management teams and frontline associates. Your primary focus will be to enhance financial performance, uphold superior quality standards, and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and corporate policies. Please note that this position requires significant travel, with approximately 90% of the work being remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set priorities and spearhead key operational initiatives including sales planning and budget formulation.
  • Deliver hands-on leadership to maximize revenue and effectively manage expenses.
  • Act as the main point of contact for communications with guests, clients, associates, ownership, corporate representatives, brand representatives, and key vendors.
  • Foster a welcoming and courteous atmosphere in all interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations to guarantee safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Contribute to hotel sales initiatives through client meetings, hosting events, and engaging with key contacts on a daily basis.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the property while implementing preventive maintenance programs.
  • Cultivate a positive, team-oriented environment focused on guest satisfaction through employee development and motivation.
  • Prepare and conduct management interviews, following hiring procedures aligned with company standards.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all departments and ensure equitable treatment of all employees.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in the hotel or related field, or a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to evaluate and make swift decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a keen ability to anticipate and resolve workplace issues.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to understand financial information and data management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel operations and team leadership is essential.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as necessary.
  • Composed and objective demeanor in high-pressure situations.
