Key Responsibilities

- Discover and capitalize on new opportunities to reach and engage broader audiences through emerging social media platforms.
- Analyze engagement metrics to refine strategies and enhance conversion rates.
- Produce engaging content including graphics, videos, and infographics to inspire community action and drive engagement.
- Foster a vibrant online community by engaging directly with followers and stakeholders.
- Support local teams in creating tailored content that resonates with their communities, providing guidance and best practices.
- Collaborate across teams to amplify advocacy campaigns and community initiatives.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing social media for nonprofit organizations, activist groups, or political movements.
- Proven track record of developing and executing effective social media strategies.
- Experience in training and supporting teams in social media best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills coupled with a discerning eye for design and branding.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and proficient in managing projects in a remote environment.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
- Familiarity with the solar or renewable energy sector and an ability to simplify complex topics for broader audiences.
- Knowledge of social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Slack, and Asana is advantageous.
- Video editing capabilities are a plus.
